Acadian born soprano Suzie LeBlanc has established an international career specializing in 17th and 18th century repertoire and has appeared with many of the worlds leading orchestras and conductors. A couple of years ago she embarked on a unique project traveling around the Maritimes, often on foot collecting Acadian folk songs that had been handed down over the generations. This is an evening of authentic music reflecting the trials and joys of the Acadian people.
