Reviews

“Tenor Christopher Enns as  Don Geroimo’s lawyer – and also the husband in the secret marriage  -- was the most even singer.  His attractive and romantic light lyric voice exhibits an easy top.” [Il Matrimonio segreto – Cimarosa]
Opera Canada

“At the performance I saw, tenor Christopher Enns’ Ecclitico displayed a crystalline voice and even phrasing.”  [Il Mondo della Luna – Haydn]
Opera  Canada

“Tenor Christopher Enns was a charming, hilarious and vocally impressive Alfredo.”
[Die Fledermaus – J. Strauss]
Opera Canada

“Tenor Christopher Enns gave a flawless performance as Candide, capturing both the character’s innocence and growing disillusion with consummate skill.” [Candide – Bernstein]
Opera Canada

“The role of Tamino is a good fit for Christopher Enns, in his first major assignment – first of all, how often does one come across a Tamino who actually looks princely?  His bright, clear and sweet timbre is ideal in Mozart, and he has the volume to fill the Four Seasons Centre.  ‘Dies Bildnis’ was taken at a rather slow temp, but it didn’t faze him, singing with rich, mellifluous tone.” [Die Zauberflöte – Mozart]
La Scena Musicale

“On Thursday Tamino was sung by Chris Enns who looked the part and sang heroically, giving it his all and achieved the feat of making Tamino believable and likeable.”
John Gilks

“Enns was especially impressive vocally, showing a large, expressive voice from his opening aria.”
