ANDREW MAHON

Canadian-British bass-baritone Andrew Mahon has appeared as a soloist across the United Kingdom, Canada and Europe, performing both concert and operatic repertoire.

Specializing in the music of Bach, recent performances include Mass in B Minor with the Tilford Bach Festival and Tenebrae & the Academy of Ancient Music; St. Matthew Passion with Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral; St. John Passion with the London Handel Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. John's; Christmas Oratorio with Gloucester Choral Society, London Handel Orchestra, and Augsburger Domsingknaben. He also joined the Grand Philharmonic Choir and the Indianapolis Symphony for Handel’s Messiah.

Andrew made additional appearances with the Edmonton Symphony in Messiah, the Sequoia Symphony for Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, the Ottawa Bach Choir for Bach Cantatas in Ottawa and Leipzig (Bachfest Leipzig). Further credits: Calgary Philharmonic, Les Voix Baroques, Elora Festival and Gächinger Kantorei.
