Conductor Julien Proulx named Artistic Director of Orchestre de la Francophonie

We are thrilled to announce that Dean Artists' Julien Proulx has been named the artistic director of the Orchestre de la Francophonie for a three year term.

Named Artistic Director of the Year at the 2020–2021 Opus Awards for his work with Orchestre symphonique de Drummodville, Julien Proulx is known for his bold programming and his ability to create musical experiences that are both innovative and unifying. This season, he looks forward to engagements with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia, and Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, among others.
