Dean Artists Management Welcomes Bass-Baritone Joel Allison to the Roster for Regional Management

Dean Artists Management is delighted to welcome bass-baritone Joel Allison to our roster.

Canadian bass-baritone Joel Allison has garnered praise for his “rich, ringing tone” (Ludwig Van Toronto), “expressive voice… and excellent interpretation” (Pro Opera). Recent highlights include his house debuts with both Oper Frankfurt and Tiroler Festspiele Erl as Bijou-Alcindor in Adam’s Le Postillion de Longuemeau, Oper Leipzig for Rossini’s Il Viaggio a Reims as Lord Sydney, and Palermo Classica Festival as Leporello in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. His return to the Canadian Opera Company for Masetto in Don Giovanni, garnered praise for his "excellent physical acting and stylish singing" (Bachtrack).

This upcoming season, Joel makes debuts as Angelotti in Puccini’s Tosca and Frank in Strauss' Die Fledermaus, alongside performances of Escamillo in Bizet’s Carmen, the Father in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Sharpless in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, and Colline in Puccini’s La bohème, all with Deutsche Oper Berlin as part of their ensemble.
