Dean Artists Management Welcomes Soprano Andriana Chuchman to the Roster for Regional Management
Dean Artists Management is delighted to welcome soprano Andriana Chuchman to our roster.
Ukrainian-Canadian soprano Andriana Chuchman has earned much acclaim for performances of a wide range of repertoire, including the heroines of Mozart and Handel, 20th Century masterpieces, and the premieres of new operas and orchestral works. This season, she sings Rachmaninoff’s The Bells with both the Kansas City and Cincinnati Symphonies, performs Shostakovich’s Seven Romances on Poems by Alexander Blok with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at Alice Tully Hall, and brings her highly acclaimed Eurydice in Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice to Pacific Opera Victoria.
Ms. Chuchman has starred in leading roles with many prestigious companies including The Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Washington National Opera, Canadian Opera Company, Glimmerglass Festival, Opera Omaha, Glyndebourne Festival Tour, Salzburg Whitsun Festival, and the Hamburg State Opera. In the past few seasons, she has debuted several important new roles including Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Houston Grand Opera), Violetta (San Diego Opera, Opera Omaha), Juliette in Roméo et Juliette (Opera Omaha), the title role in Handel’s Alcina (Manitoba Chamber Orchestra), and created the role of Sandrine/Mercédès in the world premiere of Joby Talbot’s new opera The Diving Bell and the Butterfly with The Dallas Opera.
In concert, Ms. Chuchman has appeared in Lincoln Center’s White Lights Festival in staged performances of the Pergolesi Stabat Mater, and has also appeared with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Ottawa’s National Arts Centre Orchestra, the National Symphony at the Kennedy Centre, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Rhode Island Symphony Orchestra, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Edmonton Symphony, the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and at the Cincinnati May, Bellingham, Napa Valley, and Ravinia festivals.
