A digital production of Heggie's "For a Look, For a Touch" premieres in April, featuring baritone Andrew Love. Timothy Vernon conducts.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME CANADIAN-BULGARIAN MEZZO SOPRANO ADANYA DUNN TO THE DEAN ARTISTS MANAGEMENT ROSTER!
Canadian-Bulgarian mezzo-soprano Adanya Dunn (she/her) made her American debut as Hermia in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream with the Santa Fe Opera in the summer of 2021. Adanya is an alumna of the University of Toronto, Bard College Conservatory, and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Performance highlights include: Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Sesto (La clemenza di Tito), Berio’s Sequenza III, and concerts at Amsterdam's Muziekgebouw, Het Concertgebouw, and Dutch National Opera. She is a recipient of the 2021 Sylva Gelber Music Foundation Award, the 2020 Hnatyshyn Foundation Developing Artist Grant winner, Michigan District Winner MONC 2020, and a three-time grant recipient Canada Council for the Arts. In August 2020, Adanya founded Red Light Arts & Culture in Amsterdam, a not-for-profit foundation that connects local entrepreneurs, professional musicians and artists, and site-specific locations, adding to the rich cultural diversity of the Red Light District. For this project, she was a 2020 winner of the Music Academy of the West’s Alumni Enterprise Award. In April 2022, Adanya sings Mozart's Requiem with the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France in Paris and Aix-en-Provence conducted by Barbara Hannigan.

EVAN KORBUT AND MEGHAN LATHAM FOR EDMONTON OPERA'S THE WILD ROSE OPERA PROJECT
Dean Artists Evan Korbut and Megan Latham join the Edmonton Opera for the Wild Rose Opera Project. The project premieres a series of four short operatic works that each explore mental health issues through characters with ties to the Alberta landscape.
Catch Evan in Indians on Vacation, composed by Ian Cusson with libretto by Royce Vavrek. Premiering November 19th, 2021.
Megan appears in Farmer and Dog, composer by John Estacio with libretto by Royce Vavrek. Premiering December 3rd, 2021.
SYDNEY BAEDKE - ATELIER LYRIQUE NATIONAL AUDITION FINALIST
Dean Artists’ Sydney Baedke is selected as a finalist for the Opéra de Montréal’s Atelier lyrique. You can catch Sydney performing in their Talent Gala event on Wednesday, November 17th.

DEAN ARTISTS MANAGEMENT WELCOMES SARAH DUFRESNE (SOPRANO)
WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME CANADIAN SOPRANO SARAH DUFRESNE TO THE DEAN ARTISTS MANAGEMENT ROSTER!
Raised in beautiful Niagara Falls, and currently based in Montreal, Canadian soprano Sarah Dufresne is known for her clarity of tone, rapid coloratura, and diverse repertoire. She is currently a second-year resident artist at the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal.
Recently praised for her vocal technique and ease on the stage, Sarah’s 2021/2022 season includes various concert performances with the l’Atelier lyrique, appearing as Messiah soloist for Chorus Niagara, and covering various roles at l’Opéra de Montréal through her resident artist position. This past October, she appeared as Nora in Opéra de Montréal’s season opening production of Vaughn-William’s Riders to the Sea.
Her varied repertoire includes Tytania in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mrs. Fiorentino in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, Galatea in Handel’s Acis and Galatea, and Servilia in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito. Recently, in collaboration with Against the Grain Theater and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Sarah premiered the role of Rebecca Marshall in their production of Nicole Lizée’s No One’s Safe, a conceptual and immersive murder mystery opera.
