Dean Artists Management Welcomes Conductor Juliane Gallant to the Roster for General Management

Dean Artists Management is delighted to welcome conductor Juliane Gallant to our roster.

New Brunswick-born conductor Juliane Gallant is the Resident Conductor and Artistic Advisor (Pops) of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. This season, she joins the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Symphony New Brunswick, the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, the Regina Symphony Orchestra, and makes her debut with Boston Pops for their annual Holiday Pops.

In past seasons, Juliane has taken the podium for the Victoria Symphony, PEI Symphony Orchestra, Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, and Kingston Symphony Orchestra, while also serving as assistant and cover conductor with many orchestras and opera companies across Canada. With a particular passion for pops programming, she has collaborated with a variety of artists such as The Tenors, Chantal Kreviazuk, Kiesza, Serena Ryder, and Brett Kissel, among others. This season, she joins Calgary Phil for Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery, Revolution: The Music of the Beatles, The Princess Bride, The Music of Prince, and programs in collaboration with Vivek Shraya, Tenille Townes, and Steven Page.

Juliane was one of two conducting fellows in the inaugural cohort of Tapestry Opera's Women in Musical Leadership program, and one of twelve participants in the first Women Conductors Course: Conducting for Opera, run by the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the National Opera Studio, and the Royal Philharmonic Society.

Juliane is represented by Managing Director Morgan Reid for worldwide general management.
