2026 Dora Mavor Moore Award Nominees

Congratulations to the  Dean Artists nominated for the 2026  Dora Mavor Moore Awards.

- Director Jennifer Nichols is nominated for Outstanding Creative Direction on Against the Grain Theatre’s Canuck Cantatas, which is also nominated for Outstanding Production, and Outstanding New Opera.

-Soprano Sarah Dufresne is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Individual for her performance as Gilda in Canadian Opera Company's Rigoletto, which is also nominated for Outstanding Production.

-Mezzo-soprano Adanya Dunn is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble for Tapestry’s Tapestry Briefs: Under Where, which is also nominated for Outstanding New Opera.

- Soprano Jacqueline Woodley is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble for Opera 5’s Come Closer, which is also nominated for Outstanding New Opera.

- Canadian Opera Company's Orfeo ed Euridice, nominated for Outstanding Production, featuring Dean Artists’ Catherine St-Arnaud (Amor).

- Canadian Opera Company's Rigoletto, nominated for Outstanding Production, featuring Dean Artists’ Andriana Chuchman (Gilda), Sarah Dufresne (Gilda), Simona Genga, Elena Howard-Scott (Page), Nathan Keoughan (Marullo), and Stephen Hegedus (Count Ceprano).
