Dean Artists Management Welcomes Baritone Jamal Al Titi to the Roster for General Management

Dean Artists Management is delighted to welcome baritone Jamal Al Titi to our roster.

Belarusian-born Canadian baritone Jamal Al Titi is a young artist on the rise whose warm, resonant timbre and charismatic stage presence have already brought him to leading roles on both Canadian and international stages. Recently, Jamal was named a Mécénat Musica 2026 Vocal Discovery Prize winner, selected by the jury as a promising emerging talent and awarding him six years of funding toward his early career development.

This upcoming season, Jamal makes his company debuts with Edmonton Opera as Papageno (role debut) in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, and Orchestre symphonique de Montréal as Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, under the baton of Rafael Payare. He subsequently returns to Opéra de Montréal for the world premiere of ATYS in co-production with Ballet Opéra Pantomime.

A graduating member of Opéra de Montréal’s prestigious Atelier lyrique, he appeared as Dancaïre in Bizet’s Carmen this season, where he impressed with a “magnificent timbre” (Olyrix), and “(stood out) for his energy and impressive vocal projection” (Ludwig Van Montréal). Additional concert highlights include Handel's Messiah (Orchestre Classique de Montréal), and Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony & Grand Philharmonic Choir). He has also appeared in recital with the Caramoor Schwab Vocal Rising Stars program and the New York Festival of Songs, collaborating with Steven Blier and Bénédicte Jourdois.

Jamal is a graduate of the International Meistersinger Academy, where he performed with the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, and the Rebanks Family Fellowship of the Royal Conservatory of Music. He is a two-time district winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, the first-prize winner of the Rochester International Vocal Competition, and the 32nd National Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques Program, and the audience choice award winner at the OSM Competition, the Opéra de Montréal Talent Gala, and the Toronto City Opera Macina Competition.

Jamal is represented by Managing Director Morgan Reid for worldwide general management.
