Tenor Isaiah Bell joins the Bethlehem Bach Choir for their 114th Bach Festival, for both weekends of their programming. Isaiah performs as the tenor soloist for Bach's St. Matthew Passion (May 13 and 20) and Mass in B Minor (May 14 and 21).
The performances are led by Greg Funfgeld, conductor and artistic director of the festival.

Dean Artists Sydney Baedke, Lara Ciekiewicz, Andrew Haji, and Evan Korbut joined the Banff Opera Centre for the grand reopening of the new renovated Jenny Belzberg Theatre. The program was curated by artistic director Joel Ivany and they were joined by Jon Kimura Parker on the piano.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME CONDUCTOR JEAN-SÉBASTIEN VALLÉE TO THE DEAN ARTISTS MANAGEMENT ROSTER!
Canadian-American conductor Jean-Sébastien Vallée is an internationally recognized musician, scholar, and pedagogue with a focus on vocal, choral and orchestral repertoire. Maestro Vallée has conducted ensembles in North America, Europe and Asia and has prepared choruses for the Toronto Symphony, l’Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, and the National Arts Center Orchestra in Ottawa.
Jean-Sébastien Vallée is Artistic Director of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir; and Associate Professor of Music, Director of Choral Studies, and Coordinator of the Ensembles and Conducting Area at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University. Jean-Sébastien has also served as Director of Choral Studies at California State University, Los Angeles and was on the choral faculty of the University of Redlands. Dr. Vallée holds degrees from Laval University, Sherbrooke University, the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a doctorate in conducting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Maestro Vallée’s work is broadcast internationally and can be heard on his albums Lux (ATMA, 2017), Requiem (ATMA, 2018 – requiems by Fauré and Duruflé), and Distance (ATMA, 2021). Upcoming engagements include concerts at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, a tour with the National Youth Choir of Canada, concerts with l’Orchestre symphonique de Québec and the Toronto Symphony, and workshops as part of the World Expo on Choral Music in Lisbon, Portugal.
